people hanging on a moving train from Accra to Nsawam

Gone are the days where there were enough trains in the country for everyone who wish to travel by train due to its affordability. now it is very rare to see a train in Ghana but if that happens, you see many people risking their life, hanging on the edges of the train just for a free transportation. these people forget how risky it is for them and how this unconscious act of theirs can cause them.

please add your critique. thank you.

  1. Yea, I think those are very good, I like them, but still with the positioning but unless u probably chose it as a style, other than that I think you should position yourself so everything come out clearly to tell the story well one it's on a blog and also on the interbet.
For example, I like the first photo, for me lighting and all that is quite good. The second photo is also as good. However, the photo did not tell te end of the train. At least far from the beginning end, part of the train shows and it alos shows people glued to it (terrible though)but did not show the end of the train... and I think it is still a matter of positioning.. it probably was fine for you because you are familiar with the situation and know waht it is and Ghanaians as well since the situation revolves around them. But for someone who is not familiar with the situation it's a bit ambigious, it looks like people are only having fun and doesn't really tell te severity of the issue, which I guess you seek to portray.
Like the first one its so clear because it shows the full train and the rail lines. I guess you wasnted a close photo with the second one. You could have gone a little further back to give it the short angle lense and it would have still been close and still with the rails and the end of the train. Positioning...... was fine fine though. I like them!

  3. Good shots...a superimposed shot would have been good as well...and the train could have been shown a bit

  4. WHAT WILL BE THE FATE OF THESE TRAVELLERS IN THE EVENT OF A MISHAP? DOES THE RAIL TRANSPORT SECTOR HAVE MECHANISMS TO CHECK SOME OF THESE EXCESSES? WHEN AT ALL WILL WE LEARN AS A PEOPLE?

  5. Government must take a critical look at the rail or train transport system because this is not right. At 56, we must pass this stage.
